Last 3 days from 15 until 17 of August, there were a Fest : Anime Festival Asia ID (AFAID), as I told you guys from before.
I went there duh, on the second day which is saturday to be exact.
I was planning on going with some of my friends, but I'm the one that doesn't have the ticket yet.
They said that meetup is on the nearest KMart from school at 8 am right,
but on the Day, I didn't find them on the Mart, so I tried calling them but the person I'm calling wasn't answering.
so I proceed going to AFA myself, with that I could buy a ticket myself without them waiting.
I waited in the Stage+Exhibition Ticket queue but damn it was a long entry.
and on that time, I got answered phone call.
My friends got the Stage+Exhibition Ticket so I thought I gotta have those kind right, but I figured that I'm not really interested in Stage event that much bc I went here for Merchs.
Besides, the Exhibition only ticket line was 1/10 of the Stage ticket line so I went back to the line and entered the Exhibition Ticket queue.
Once I got my ticket I asked the staff what's next.
and he said that
I gotta wait another line that is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the freakin parking lot.
For real I barely see the Convention building in the distance.
But I didn't wait that long probably 20-30 minutes or so.
I called my friends for like 20 times and STILL they're not answering.
So I went all around the convention alone. seriously, I didn't sign up for this
but I got lot of merch so it was pretty much worth it.
And I got a flower crown too (I picked the wrong one but oh well)
When the clock hits 12, I'm literally just a kid who got pushed around when I'm walking bc damn it was so populated by peeps so I got trouble with moving.
and my legs was sore so I decided to call it a day and go home.
on my way to the exit I found a friend from my school and said hello to eachother and normal stuff.
once I got outside, My old friend from elementary informed me that she was going to AFA,
and I'm like
wtf dude why didn't you get here SOONER?
so.
freakin.
pissed.
I don't know if I'll be back to AFA next year, but it depends on what merchs are coming next year.
I don't blame the staff I think they did good but I can't stand small places theres way too many peeps.
And I don't like anime that much since majority here are anime and japan culture thing.
I prefer hellofest over AFA tbh, I'll give another try for Hellofest this year rather than last year.
bc last time on Hellofest, I found much more nerd stuff than animes so yeah.
